Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols is the daughter Alison and James Nichols. She has English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish heritage. Cony High School, Augusta was the place where she received the high jump award. She was a student at Columbia University in New York City, where she eventually completed a double major in economics and math. After a brief stint in modeling after graduation, she began a successful career working for high-profile companies like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel decided to get into acting and was offered a role on the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). This was her first audition. She made her film debut in the role of Jessica Matthews in the prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry met Lloyd (2003). Her success continued through the roles she played in films such as The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Criminal Minds (2005) (a repeated role in the role of FBI Agent Ashley Seaver) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). She was the lead character of a police officer Kiera Cameron in the science fiction show Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in economics and math. Saldana and Lang were in Avatar (2008); Nichols and Lang in Conan the Barbarian (2011). She got engaged to Michael Kershaw, a real estate developer, on December 30 in 2013.
