Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was the younger sister of
media mogul, producer, musician Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada
Jones is her older sister. She is also the half-sibling of five from the other
relationships her father had with his family. Her father is African American
and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants of Russia and
Latvia). Rashida was raised in Reform Judaism. Her birthplace was Bel Air, Los
Angeles. Jones claimed that Jones' mixed race parents were unacceptable to her
in the 1970s. Jones made her acting debut professionally with The Last Don in
1997 the mini-series based on Mario Puzo. Rashida was also a graduate of
Harvard University in 1997. The course was at the Buckley School, Sherman Oaks,
California. She was awarded the Most Likely to Succeed Award. Arabic (O+O'UO
O(c)) is her name. It is the word for "Major" mature, adult and wise.

February 2003. Niece of Robert Lipton. She has been romantically associated
with Josh Hartnett, Charlie Hunnam and John Krasinski. She sang in a Tupac
Shakur tribute track, that was written by Kidada Jones and her sister. Kidada
as well as Rashida were recorded by Quincy Jones III, the brother of Quincy
Jones III. Quincy Jones III was also present during the introduction and
recited lines from the poem by Shakur "Starry Night." The poem
inspired the title of the song. Rashida's father is African American, and also
has smaller amounts of English, Scottish, and Welsh as well as Welsh ancestry
(some of his African ancestors were from the Tikar people of Cameroon). Rashida
is Ashkenazi Jewish, of Russian Jewish and Latvian Jewish descent. Her paternal
grandparents hail from South Carolina and Mississippi, respectively. Her
maternal grandfather was born in New York, and her maternal grandmother was
born in Dublin, Ireland, of Eastern European Jewish origin. In the year 2009,
she had played three different characters in the show, including
"Karen" in the classic sitcoms on television: Freaks and Geeks
(1999), Stella ((2005) and The Office ((2005)).
