Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was the daughter of
Gayle (Gaston) who was an executive director for national at Mary Kay and
Freddie Wright as a pharmacist executive. Her birthplace was San Diego,
California. Her professional journey began at the age of 14 when she began
modeling. She has worked in Paris, Japan and Paris. After high school
graduation, she became an actress. She was offered a part on the soap opera
Santa Barbara (1984), for which she was nominated three times for a Daytime
Emmy. She became a fan of Dane Witherspoon during the first season. They got
married in the year 1986. Meanwhile, she starred in The Princess Bride (1987),
playing the title role. After she left the cast of Santa Barbara, she got the
role of the lead in Denial (1990) with Jason Patric. She got to know Sean Penn
in 1990 while she was appearing in State of Grace (1990). They had daughters
Dylan Frances with him and a son named Hopper Jack. Robin returned to Hollywood
after a long absence with one of her most memorable parts: Tara in The Playboys
(1992). She was gorgeous and brilliant. Then, she acted in Toys (1992) in Toys
(1992) alongside Robin Williams, and she performed a hilarious role. In 1994,
Wright was in the blockbuster hit Forrest Gump (1994), with Tom Hanks. Wright
was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance in
the film as Jenny. She was offered a small part in The Crossing Guard (1995),
with Jack Nicholson. After declining 14 roles she played the title role in
MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996), directed by Pen Densham, and co-starring Morgan
Freeman and Stockard Channing. In the following film, she co-starred with
William Hurt in Erin Dignam’s Loved (1997).
